WHAT DOES EMPTYING MACHINE CONSIST OF?

EMPTYING MACHINE is our higly engineered mechanical separator that pefectly divides the artificial turf carpet from its internal and mixed infield.

This unique model in the world can process up to twelve artificial turf rolls per hours.

Due to its innovative features this machine can work with extra size artificial turf rolls (up to 2,70 meters in width and 20 meters in lenght).

This new machine has been designed to create high quality products: the carpet comes out from the production processes completely cleaned and it is tightly rewound, packed with plastic film and labeled to be reused or recycled.

HOW DOES EMPTYING MACHINE WORK?

This machine has been designed to process the artificial turf rolls through four different working steps:

As first step the operator places the full carpet roll at the entrance of the process system and starts to manage the machine operations through a touch screen controller. At this point the roll goes through few important phases in order to finely separate the carpet from its infield composed of 50% wet sand and 50% performing infield like rubber-epdm-fiber and other materials all mixed together.
In the second step, after these important phases, the machine automatically places the carpet between two rubber processing rollers in order to stretch and straighten it and to get it cleaned by an air blade.
The third step consists in getting out the whole infield from the machine system. Now the infield can be reused for constructing new carpets or thanks to our THOR/LOKI RECYCLING PLANTS can be separated in single sand and rubber elements free from dust and impurities properly.
In the last and fourth processing step EMPTYING MACHINE rolls tighlty up, packages and labels the cleaned and empty carpet to make it reusable or to let the recycling processes continue with our innovative MODULE 3 or MUDULE 5 MACHINES.
