Module 3-5

FIXED SOLUTION

MODULE 3-5

MODULE 3-5 is a revolutionary machine. The key to its success is simple: it can properly separate fiber from its backing, preventing it from pollution. This is possible thanks to its fine work: you will not shred the fiber, you will just send the carpet to the Barber Shop!

After the separation the material will be ready to be densified and stored, saving space.

Plant

The drawings shown here are only representative, depending on the size of the chosen system, the entire setting and size of the individual plant will drastically change.

Customization

The 85% of the machines in our range are non-commercial: we have designed, engineered and built our plants specifically for the needs of the artificial turf industry needs.

Be advised

If you need to reduce dimensions and weight of the final product, MODULE 3 can densify the plastic fiber ensuring you a good reduction for storage and transport.

Module 3

Features

Module 3 is a complementary modular machine.

This system is used to recover the precious plastic fiber without mixing it with its support.

This machine has the peculiarity of being able to literally cut the plastic filament at the base, allowing it to be reused directly for extrusion through a specific treatment.

These steps will give the filament the opportunity to be cut correctly, eliminating annoying dust residues, which are poison for the plastic industries.

At this point, once the fiber has been separated from its support and then densified, it can be stored as clean material in a special area of the company. The support can instead be cut into strips and stored as non-hazardous special waste in another designated area.

MODULE 5, THE NEW SMART ARTIFICIAL TURF RECYCLING SYSTEM

Features

MODULE 5 is a high engineered densification system designed to wash, dry and transform the whole artifical turf carpet simply.

WHAT DOES MODULE 5 CONSIST OF?

Module 5 has been particularly designed to recycle both the plastic backing and the fiber of the artificial turf carpet. This unique model in the world can process up to ten artificial turf rolls per hours. Due to its innovative features MODULE 5 can work with extra size artificial turf rolls (up to 2,00 meters in width and 20 meters in lenght). Thanks to this machine the storage of used artificial turf carpets will never be a problem anymore: nowadays we all know how important it is to recycle materials to keep the world cleaner and safer for us. Furthermore, this recycling activity can give companies increasing profit advantages.

HOW DOES MODULE 5 WORK?

Our innovative MODULE 5 has been designed to process the empty and cleaned artificial turf carpet through different working steps: as first step the operator places the carpet roll at the entrance of the process system and starts to manage the machine operations through a touch screen controller. At this point the machine starts to wash the carpet with a high-pressure purifying water system that reuse the same water for any further process in order to avoid its waste. The carpet comes out from here free from any impurities and dust. After this, the machine dries the carpet perfectly and then densifies its plot reducing it greatly. MODULE 5 in now ready to break the densified plot into small polymeric granulates of 1 cm in diameter.

We know that the artificial turf carpet is composed of different polymeric materials but the innovative plus point of this recycling system is to reuse together all the components without wasting any of them.

The densified polymeric granulates can be indeed easily reused as a compound to be mixed with other plastic materials or resold for highly demanded plastic pyrolysis.

The pyrolisis is the process that instead of incinerating or recycling plastic compunds breaks them down into their basic elements, then reformed into new products. In Italy, not pure polymeric granulates are commonly used as reusable plastic compound in many different industries as for example in recycled plastic pallet production.

The max production is 10 rolls of 2,5m x 20m = 400 m2/ hour = 1 tons/hour
